With much sadness and regret,
I will not be holding an October 15th Raleigh ceremony this year.
It has been such a blessing to love and support so many families over the past few years and I hope to continue next October 15th. Please understand that the planning for this event begins months in advance and is primarily financed
by my husband and I. After a tough, emotional year full of
many disappointments for our family,
I didn't feel that I had what it took to make this event all
that you and your precious babies deserved.
I hope you all understand.
If you would like to help me with this event next year
and I will contact you with ways to help.
I encourage you to light a candle in honor of your
sweet baby(ies) on October 15th and know that
I'll be thinking of and praying for you all.

October 15th Raleigh is a community wide event held in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Each year, approximately one million pregnancies in the U.S. end in miscarriage, stillbirth or the death of a newborn child.
October 15th Raleigh is an effort to bring comfort, healing and unity to parents in the Triangle who have suffered a pregnancy or infant loss. October 15th Raleigh allows parents to openly remember their loss and to have their loss recognized.
